“Her work has been described as “breathtaking”.  As Atlanta’s most stellar new design talent, the 34 year-old, Wendy Blount, arrived on Atlanta’s design scene only two years ago from Europe, where she lived for several years.

The small firm on 14th Street accepts only 4 to 5 clients at a time. “A great deal of time and effort is put into selecting the right, fabrics, colors and pieces for a space,” explains Blount, “We create a commissioned piece of art for our clients. Art in which they live or work.”

After graduating from Schiller International University-Heidelberg, Germany in 1992, Blount moved to Russia. Her Russian giftware lines appeared in high-end stores and catalogues in the United States. Soon after, in 1995, Blount co-owned a design and property development company, which provided individually designed residences for Moscow’s top foreign executives.

Here in Atlanta, Blount Architectural and Interior Design creates floor plans and home environments for homeowners in New York, Costa Rica and the Southeast
